After the Kanali, the coastal road continues and leads to Askeli, located a few kilometers northeast of the port. Askeli faces the open sea and is built amphitheatrically on the slope of a pine covered hill with a panoramic view from above.

There are four snake-shaped streets on the road starting from the beach road and branching out across Askeli, reaching the top of the hill.

It has an organized beache with a beach bar, beach volley, tables and chairs, deck chairs, umbrellas, showers, rooms to change, rest rooms and water ski training school. There is space to play racquetball and tall trees to rest underneath them.

Askeli has large beach hotels, with pools, bars and restaurants but rooms and apartments to let are also available. Beautiful homes perched on the hillside with excellent views and cool breezes for those who have their own means of transportation or are willing to walk.

Askeli is another perfect place for families as most homes have, among other things, apartments with a kitchen and everything else that a family may need.

It has a supermarket, minimarket and bicycle or scooter rentals for short excursions. There are also poolside cafes and snack bars where you can enjoy a swim. Severalcafe snack with delicious food, coffees, ice creams and reasonable prices are located here.

At the coastal road, in front of the sea there is the "Andrea's Family Restaurant" , with good food and reasonable prices.

Askeli is connected to the town of Poros by taxi in less than 5 minutes, but if you're in the mood, then you need about a 25 minute walk to the town.
